Privacy notice
Arora Kapoor & Associates ("we") is a firm of chartered accountants. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website and our client portal, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect: the name, email address, phone number and message you send us through the enquiry or booking forms. For clients, the details and documents needed to provide our services, such as PAN, Aadhaar-linked details, bank statements, income and tax records.
Why: to reply to your enquiry, to arrange and remind you about meetings, and for clients, to prepare and file returns, keep accounts, carry out audits and meet our professional and legal duties. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Consent: by ticking the box on our forms you agree to us using your details for these purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect anything we did before.
Who sees it: our partners and staff, bound by professional confidentiality, and the service providers who host this website and portal for us. We share client data with government portals (income tax, GST, MCA and others) only when filing for you.
How long we keep it: enquiries and bookings from people who do not become clients are deleted after a period set by us. Client records are kept for as long as tax, GST and company law and our professional standards require after our engagement ends, and then deleted.
Your rights: you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it where the law does not require us to keep it, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
